Korey Kennedy has been either assisting or coaching at Kathi’s Dance & Gym Center for the past four years.  She is currently a junior at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center and is concentrating her studies on Exercise Science.

Korey is a member of our competitive team and competes as an Xcel Platinum. Her favorite event is uneven bars, but she is a very well-rounded gymnast.

Last season, Korey placed 3rd all-around at her USAG state meet in Columbus and 1st place all-around at the USAG regional meet in Akron. She then traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete at AAU Nationals where she placed 1st on uneven bars, 2nd on balance beam, 3rd on floor, and 2nd all-around.
